Capturing the underwater world in photos or video while scuba diving and sharing it with everyone is something scuba divers around the world live for. Not only is it an ongoing and interesting challenge to manipulate a camera and all its functions at the exact moment a wild animal or beautiful scene presents itself, but it is a way to share with the world the beauty that lies beneath and a diver’s passion for it. The colours of tropical fish can seem endless and the way in which light shimmers through the water column can be hypnotizing and that spectacular moment in time when a rare species finds you underwater are all reasons to document and share via photos and video!
The photos and videos that can be found on my website were either taken by me, my scuba diver colleagues, or friends. Each photo states the location of where it was taken and when you hover over the photo you will find a nice little description on what was going on during that time and the names of the species. Some of the photos also contain a link to the photographer’s or business’ own website for more information and the opportunity to purchase a print. The videos have all been uploaded by YouTube and can be shared easily.
